Bloodbound Desire

The protagonist’s life in a quiet village once flowed peacefully and predictably: working at the library, evenings with his sister, familiar faces all around. But this idyll collapses when he finds a half-dead stranger at the edge of the forest, calling himself the Prophet. The stranger introduces new worship rituals to the village. At first, they seem harmless, but soon women begin to disappear. They return silent and distant, like mindless zombies.
